<p>This two day introduction program combines Osho meditation practices, such as the Dynamic Meditation, the Kundalini Meditation, and an Evening Meeting with Osho video discourse, with introductory Gurdjieff Sacred Dances sessions, along with Osho audio discourses.</p><p>Osho says, “Gurdjieff used dances as meditations, not only for the disciples but even for the people who saw the disciples dancing.”</p><p>Everyone is welcome to experience.</p><p><strong>* For Gurdjieff Sacred Dances sessions, wearing of a set of maroon-color shirt and pants is preferable than wearing a robe. They used to be performed annually in the Buddha Hall on the Osho Day Celebration (January 19) until 2001.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>About the Facilitators :</u></p><p>Ma Prem Amiyo (Amiyo Devienne), assisted by Swami Prem Chetan (Chetan Greenberg), both from France, will facilitate the program.</p><p>Amiyo was the first teacher in the Osho community to integrate sacred dance and teach it publicly, and dedicated her life to this path, since 1989.</p><p>In 1989, Osho watched a biographical film about Gurdjieff, “Meetings with Remarkable Men”. He was particularly attracted by a segment showing a sacred dance in the last ten minutes of the film, which he thought showed a very high quality of meditation. Therefore, Amiyo, who had led many creative dance-theatre groups in the Osho community, was chosen by Osho to transmit this sacred dance, which had never been taught publicly before.</p><p>Amiyo dedicated her life to this work, and subsequently studied for many years with Avrom Altman and had many meetings with Gurdjieff's daughter. Her teachings blend a deep understanding of Gurdjieff's sacred dances, and Osho Meditations to create a whole new learning experience.</p><p>Chetan has been deeply involved with the practice and the teaching of the movements with Amiyo, in seminars, trainings and public demonstrations since 1997.
