An overwhelming rollercoaster ride on the periphery, a soulful melody at the core – this Autobiography attempts to shed some light on the mysterious Master-disciple relationship. From leaps of faith to daily chores; from spiritual ecstasies to power games; from Nirvana to the chaotic marketplace – this journey sees it all.

The Master of masters, Osho, himself assigned the task of writing this book (complete with its title and purpose: to help ‘seekers on the path’), to Neelam, his Indian secretary and disciple since previous lives. Decades of serving her Master’s work had made her the perfect vessel. Amidst chemo and other bodily hurdles, she finished not only the manuscript but two rounds of editing, before gracefully leaving her body.

When Neelam became a disciple of the enlightened Master Osho, she found a new meaning in her life. As her desire to be near Him grew stronger, she left her wealthy and loving family to join His commune in Oregon, USA, which became Rajneeshpuram, and took part in that spiritual experiment.

After completing a world tour in 1986, Osho returned to India with Neelam and appointed her as His personal secretary for India.

For more than a decade after Osho left His body, she worked diligently to expand His work and vision, and cared for the well-being of His Pune community.

She went on to create Osho Nisarga near Dharamshala, fulfilling her Master’s unmet desire to establish a small meditation centre in the Himalayas. Until her final breath, she led meditation camps and retreats and initiated seekers into sannyas.
