She was born on 2nd Oct 1947 in Patiala, Punjab with the maiden name Manjeet (Manu) Kaur. Maa Apoorva met Osho for the first time in 1972, in Mumbai and found real significance in her life. At that time she was already married and had three children. Osho said that she should live with her family and meditate. She had the dream to offer herself for Osho’s work. She meditated and worked in the Pune ashram from 1985 – 1995. In 1995 she, along with Swami Dhyan Rajneekar established Osho Life Academy in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, where many meditation camps were organised for years. Till last breath, Maa beautifully walked through her life on the path shown by her beloved Master.
