Golden Future – Offering at the Lotus feet of Osho on His 90th Birthday at Osho Dham, New Delhi

On the 90th birthday of Osho, Osho Dham unveiled an installation named Golden Future made of mild steel weighing 400 kgs.

This installation signifies the journey of a seeker.  As meditation progresses, the disciple passes through many colors which in essence are various stages of inner growth.  At the crescendo, the disciple dies as an ego, dissolves into the existence and becomes one with the whole, his golden future.

This installation has been designed by Osho Dham Creative Team and executed by Swami Anand Sufi, a civil engineer trained into design and architecture.

Osho gave more than 5500 discourses of more than 10,000 hours from 1964 to 1990.  Amongst many life transforming subjects, he talked about various techniques of meditation to suit the needs of different people.

Osho Dham is an open invitation to all.  It is a peaceful, pristine space of greenery, rippling water and bird songs where meditation techniques given by Osho, both individual and in group formats, are practiced 365 days a year. It was founded by Swami Om Prakash Saraswati with the Blessings of Osho, is about 50 kms south of Delhi and is easily accessible from the airport. Seekers from all over the world have converged here to meditate in deep silence for 25 years so a pulsating energy-field has built up that enhances meditation. 

Osho sannyasins celebrated their guru’s 90th birthday with the golden spirit and joy today at Osho Dham.  It was a visual and a heartful treat to watch so many people laughing, dancing and sitting in silence.  The golden future is not far away for those who make space to meditate and celebrate.
