Art & CreativityKabir was a poet, a weaver who lived in the fifteenth century. His songs and poems are a lyrical declaration of the treasure we hold within and a reminder to celebrate our humanity. Kabir sings, “ the formless is in the midst, of all forms, I sing the glory of all forms.” Osho sings in reply “So let us sing the glory of the manifold forms – and that will be an indirect praise to God. God cannot be praised directly; one has to be indirect. You can offer your praises to God through a rose flower, through a beautiful rock, through a beautiful woman or man. You have to sing the glory of existence”. Osho’s eloquent wisdom is a wake up call, a challenge to acknowledge our own light just as he does – and just as Kabir did five hundred years ago.

Osho world Galleria, reminiscences Kabir, the Indian mystic by way of launching the forms of Haiku – textile collection dedicated to Saint Kabir. Taking inspiration from the rhythmic abstraction of Osho’s signature, the range comprises of natural and earthly colour tones of white, creams, beige and khaki, cottons, linens and voils, smooth and soft have a classic and simple stylization in the forms of tops, kurtas, pyjamas, meditative robes, stoles and sarees. Abstract geometrics and graduating lines give a unique angularity to contour and surface decoration, while maintaining the minimalist look of Haiku. Sarees, the Indianised drapery is the new add on in the product line.
