Buddha
: A State of Ultimate Being
For centuries the teachings of the Buddha have been passed down from one generation to the next in a poetic form known in the East as sutras - the smallest possible number of words packed with the greatest possible meaning. Once the meaning is understood, just reading the words of the sutra can provoke a profound sense of peace and relaxation.

Anger
We
all know what anger is, and we've all felt it: whether
as a fleeting annoyance or as full-fledged rage.
Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human
emotion. But when it gets out of control and turns
destructive, it can lead to problems - problems at work,
in your personal relationships, and in the overall
quality of your life. And it can make you feel as though
you're at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful
emotion.

Transforming
Emotions Through Control-Gurdjieff, a Russian mystic, was a great enlightened master of the modern times. Though he was not educated, he had several intellectual disciples, such as P.D. Auspensky and Catherine Mansfield. Often the disciples found it hard to work with him even though they were intelligent.

"Suffering
is enjoyable"
What
is the secret- how to enjoy suffering? The first thing
is: if you don't escape, if you allow the suffering to
be there, if you are ready to face it, if you are not
trying somehow to forget it, then you are different.
Suffering is there but just around you; it is not in the
center, it is on the periphery. It is impossible for
suffering to be in the center; it is not in the nature
of things. It is always on the periphery and you are the
center. So when you allow it to happen, when you don't
escape, you don't run, you are not in a panic, suddenly
you become aware that suffering is there on the
periphery, as if happening to someone else, not to you,
and you are looking at it. A subtle joy spreads all over
your being because you have realized one of the basic
truths of life: that you are bliss and not suffering.

The
Razor's Edge
This
series of discourses was spoken by Bhagwan Shree
Rajneesh in the first months after His return to Poona,
India. Nearly seven years before, Bhagwan had left the
ashram in Poona - where in a few short years, His
presence had drawn thousands of seekers from nearly
every country in the world - and traveled to America.
There, guided by Bhagwan's vision of a humanity living
in harmony with nature, rich in both the material and
the spiritual realms, His disciples created the
commune-city of Rajneeshpuram, Oregon- history's most
extraordinary experiment in human consciousness.

Silence
Within, Laughter Without
Silence and laughter are the keys. Laughter is divine when it comes out of silence. Osho says that "When laughter comes out of thinking it is ugly; it belongs to this ordinary, mundane world, it is not cosmic. Then you are laughing at somebody else, at somebody else's cost, and it's ugly and violent."
