Union Minister for Home Affairs, Shri Shivraj Patil, launched Osho World’s latest issue of news “India My Love” on Friday, 13th August 2004. Osho World’s Swami Atul Anand, Swami Ravindra Bharti, Ma Shashin, Swami Amit and Ma Dev Dakshina also presented the Hon’ble Minister with a book of Osho, titled “India My Love” and a set of ten audiotapes of Osho discourses on India, titled “Naye Bharat Ki Khoj”. The presentation was made at the Hon’ble Minister’s office.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Patil said, “I have been listening to Osho for a long time and whenever I could take out some time from my busy schedule, I prefer to listen to Osho discourses.”

Shri Shivraj Patil expressed his amazement and happiness and was impressed when Swami Atul Anand informed the Hon’ble Minister of Oshodham, a meditation campus on the outskirts of Delhi and the meditation sessions conducted there.

In December 2000, Shri Shivraj Patil, had visited Osho World galleria located at Ansal Plaza, to inaugurate “Osho Week” and a photo exhibition dedicated to the enlightened master.

Osho, the enlightened mystic of the modern times brings out the essence of India not in terms of geography or history but as something invisible but very tangible that can give one the greatest treasure that is possible for human beings.

Osho says, “India is not just geography or history. It is not only a nation, a country, a mere piece of land. It is something more: it is a metaphor, poetry, something invisible but very tangible. It is vibrating with certain energy fields which no other country can claim.

Coinciding with the independence day of India and to celebrate this very spirit of inner richness, Osho World Foundation observed “India My Love week” from August 13th to 20th, 2004 at Osho World galleria, BG-09, Ansal Plaza, New Delhi.
