'Light Shower' On The Way Of Celebration

The only way to bliss is the way of celebration! On the occasion of Diwali - the festival of lights and celebration, Osho World Galleria is organising 'Light Shower' - an exhibition of glass paintings by Aashita Bhatia.Celebrated French designer Christine Cledat inaugurated the exhibition. The exhibition showcases gel and wax candles along with aesthetic stainless steel products.

A graduate of the Delhi School of Art, Aashita Bhatia is a renowned artist who likes to experiment. "I love experimenting with different medium on glass, specially playing with different textures and forms which the medium takes itself. A sort of magic is created when light falls on the painted glass surface," she says. She lends a practical touch to her art by making it usable in everyday life like creating glass candleholders and vases with paintings on them. Over 120 individually created pieces are presented in myriad colours and various shapes of leaves, motifs, patterns and even abstract art. Making life a celebration by bringing creativity to everyday life is the objective of this exhibition.

According to Swami Arun Saraswati, the creative director of Osho World, "This exhibition is an effort to bring the spirit of celebration in daily life through creativity. The glass paintings and candles on display in the exhibition are creative expressions and befit the spirit of the festive season."

In the past too, Osho World has hosted many such exhibitions to spread the spirit of celebration through creativity. Sulptures and maquettes by famed sculptor K. S. Radhakrishan have been displayed here in the past. According to him, "The spirit of celebration is visible at Osho World in all its splendour and inspire the artists overflow with creativity. This exhibition is a continuation of the same spirit."

The way of celebration full of light, colour and festivity will be open at Osho World Galleria from 18 October to 4 November from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm everyday. Osho World invites you to take a stroll on this wondrous path of bliss!
