Peace has to dance and silence has to sing. And unless your innermost realization becomes laughter, something is still lacking. Something still has to be done, says Osho, the Zen master. More...

Imagine: When Zorba the Greek Becomes Gautama the Buddha
Posted by : Osho World Foundation - Tuesday, May 01, 2018

Swami Anand Kul Bhushan

NEW DELHI India To mark Buddha Jayanti on 30 April, the full moon night when Buddha was born, got enlightened and left his body, Swami Anand Kul Bhushan, recalls Buddha’s search and wonders if we can follow him.

The brilliant young astrologer, Kau Danna, raised just one finger while the group of wise old fortunetellers raised two.

Kau Danna indicated that the new born prince had only one possibility to become a great spiritual guru while the others played safe by suggesting that he could either become a great spiritual guru or a great emperor.

The newborn’s father did not want to take any chances, so he organised the environment around prince Siddhartha to exclude all indications of decay and death.

Beloved Master, Would you talk about Sheela and her gang?
Posted by : Osho World Foundation - Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Beloved Master,
Would you talk about Sheela and her gang?
My God! Such an old story. And you must be real lazy and late to ask such a question. I can talk about Adam and Eve that is far more fresh. But I do not want to waste my time and your time about Sheela and her gang. It is finished.
Okay?

I have a few secrets to impart to you, and I would not like to die before I have imparted them
Posted by : Osho World Foundation - Friday, April 13, 2018
I have a few secrets to impart to you, and I would not like to die before I have imparted them to you - because I dont know anybody else now alive in the world who can do that work. I have secrets from Taoism, secrets from tantra, secrets from yoga, secrets from Sufis, secrets from Zen people. I have lived in almost all the traditions of the world I have been a wanderer in many lives. I have gathered much honey from many flowers.
And the time, sooner or later, will come when I will have to depart - and I will not be able to enter again in the body. This is going to be my last life. All the honey that I have gathered I would like to share with you, so that you can share it with others, so that it does not disappear from the earth.
This is going to be a very secret work hence, Ajit Sarasvati, I cannot speak about it. I think I have already spoken too much! I should not have said even this. The work will be only for those who are utterly devoted.

KAMLESH PANDEY

(Creative writer, media personality)

Ma Yoga Laxmi was to Osho what Anand was to Gautama
Buddha with one major differencethere is no record or
evidence that Anand's life with Gautama Buddha went
through the number and kinds of twists and turns, ups and
downs, deaths and rebirths that Ma Yoga Laxmi's life was
so blessed to go through with Osho. She not only walked
what Osho talked, she lived it and lived it joyfully. She had
been a witness to the sannyas of thousands of us
sannyasins. She had been our collective envy for her
proximity to Osho as well as our collective tears for what
she enduredbeing closest to Osho meant she received
the maximum and the harshest hits from Osho's Zen stick!
She was one of us and all of us. In Swami Dev Rashid's
The Only Life she touches us once again and Osho's
vision as well as our own hearts finds a lucid voice. A
blessing for Osho lovers and a window for the uninitiated
to Osho's vision and what it means to be a disciple of a
master of masters.

THE LUMINOUS REBEL

Vasant Joshi (Author)

A rebel, an iconoclast, an enlightened mystic and an intellectual giant, Osho (also known as Acharya Rajneesh and Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) is all this and more. He brought about a spiritual revolution in the lives of those who cared to grow intellectually. He spoke fearlessly against orthodox religions, priests, politicians, age-old traditions and anything he thought was a hindrance to the anything he thought was a hindrance to the path of self-realisation. This made him the most talked about and controversial mystic of the twentieth century.
Osho, The Luminous Rebel traces the story of Osho from his birth, talking about his spiritual search for truth and the wondrous story of his enlightenment. The book also takes the reader from the early years of Osho’s struggle with authority figures, to the much hyped city of Rajneeshpuram in the US and his incarceration in various jails across the US, where he believes he was poisoned by the US government. He was later denied visas in twenty-one countries across the world—events, he reveals, that exposed the true face of ‘democracy’.
Osho, The luminous Rebel is for all Osho lovers and admirers, for the uninitiated and the spiritually inclined, and for those who are just curious to know more.
